Happy St. Patrick’s Day – Granny Squares

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!  The day Ireland celebrate their patron saint.

Carrying on with the St. Patrick’s Day theme from a couple of weeks ago where I made a Lucky four leaf clover crochet brooch , I took inspiration from this to make a solid granny square to celebrate this theme.

The solid granny square pattern I got from:

I used green and white yarn and a No.4 hook (I love my No.4 hook!) I then attached a four leaf clover motif (made from brooch pattern) to the centre of each granny square and added an extra row around outside edge. I like how they turned out.

I might turn them into a blanket or table runner, I’m undecided at the moment.  I will let you know.

Hope you all have a great St. Patrick’s Day, whatever you’re up to and I wish you all the luck of the Irish today.

See you soon

xx
