Crochet Owl Keyring Pattern – Free Link.
This pattern is easy to follow and I had so much fun creating this project. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
This could be made into the keyring shown or used as a handbag charm.

Crochet Owl Keyring Pattern
Materials I used on this project:
I used a 3.5mm crochet hook, but you could probably get away with using a 3mm or 4mm depending on what type of yarn used.
The yarn I used is Stylecraft Special DK yarn –
Aspen – Stylecraft Special DK yarn
White – Stylecraft Special DK yarn
Grey – Stylecraft Special DK yarn
I used less than 50g of all the Aspen, Grey and White yarn.
The best soft toy filling I have found is from Hobbycraft. It’s usually on offer, so the more you buy the cheaper the price – https://www.hobbycraft.co.uk/soft-toy-filling-200g/630191-1000?_br_psugg_q=soft+toy+stuffing
Keyring attachment (if using) – https://www.kydproducts.co.uk/40mm-spring-hook-with-25mm-splitring-nickel-plated
Darning needle to sew it all together
The buttons for the eyes and the beads were from my craft stash and I can’t remember where I bought them from.

I did tweak it as always! I made small crochet eyes by working below pattern (make 2)
- Make a magic ring (MR)
- 6sc into MR (6sts) – do not join to first stitch, carry on working in the round
- Inc in each st x 6 (12sts)
- SS, Fasten off (leaving a long piece of yarn for sewing onto the face)
Sew a small button onto the circle, then sew them onto body of owl.
Attach beads to keyring chain and attached to head.

It turned out a bit quirky but I like it!
I hope you have enjoyed making your very own Crochet Owl Keyring Pattern. I would love to see your makes, leave me a photo in the comments!
