‘A’ – 3D Mandala Alphabet Letters – Free SVG Link

Another great mandala project. This was a really fun project, I really enjoyed making this for my daughters room.

Next time I’ll try to hide the foam pads! lol

To make this project I used:

* Cricut Maker

* Cricut design space

* Mandala Letter SVG (link below)

This free SVG is again from the same designer as the heart mandala I did earlier.

* 6 different coloured card/paper.

I used a colour spectrum pad from hobbycraft, they have loads of lovely colours and 2 shimmery/glittery colours included. Link to the paper I used https://www.hobbycraft.co.uk/pink-colour-spectrum-paper-pad-a4-24-pack/645647-1008 (I am not affiliated with hobbycraft, i just love their stuff lol)

* Glue stick and foam pads

I used both glue sticks and adhesive foam pads for this project. All layers except the very top one I have used the foam pads to give a bit of depth to the project (NOTE: try to hide the foam pads under each layer by cutting them to size so you can’t see them, not like I have done lol). I used the glue stick to attach the shimmer/glitter card to the layer below, it has very small intricate cuts and the foam pads just wont work.

* Green Standard Grip Cricut Mat

I originally tried with the blue light grip mat, it cut every layer fine until the top glitter paper. It unattached and screwed itself up! I was not happy wasting my precious materials. Don’t get me wrong it was a nightmare trying to get it off the mat afterwards but at least it wasn’t ripped into pieces lol.

* Cricut settings

I made the SVG smaller to fit the paper I had – 20cm wide x 19cm length.

Material setting for the shimmer/glitter paper – SHIMMER PAPER

Material setting for the other layers – LIGHT CARDSTOCK – 60lb (163gsm)

NOTE: there may be better settings but these are the ones that worked for me.

Here is the link for this gorgeous mandala:

I absolutely love this !
