(NOTE: Hide the foam pads under each layer by using small foam pads or cutting them to size so you can’t see them).
Settings:
Cricut settings
Resize the SVG within Design Space to fit the paper you are using or move the pieces in edit mat to make sure they all fit on the card stock. I resized this project to 13.01cm width by 15cm height to get it to fit all on the project I’m making this for.
The material setting for all the card layers
MEDIUM CARDSTOCK (80lb / 216GSM) – DEFAULT PRESSURE
NOTE: All machines are different and there may be better settings but these are the ones that have worked for me.

First Section
Apply self-adhesive foam pads to the back of Monkey Layer 2 and apply centrally to Monkey Layer 1. (I found it easier for positioning to align the ears and hair tuft together first).
See the image below for placement:

Cheeky Monkey Crochet Pattern – Free Pattern Link. Meet the new addition – My Cheeky Little Monkey!
Finally, I got around to making something other than unicorns. This was made for a friends little boy.
This monkey makes a lovely addition to my ever increasing little crochet animal family. It fits in perfectly with my other crochet elephants and giraffes.
This would also make a beautiful gift for someone special to cherish forever.
This pattern is easy to follow and I had so much fun creating this project. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Cheeky Monkey Crochet Pattern
Cheeky Monkey Crochet Pattern
Materials I used on this project:
I used a 3.5mm crochet hook, but you could probably get away with using a 4mm.
The yarn I used –
Dark Brown – Stylecraft Special DK yarn
Mocha – Stylecraft Special DK yarn
Black – Stylecraft Special DK yarn
I used approximately 50g of both the Dark Brown and Mocha. Only a small amount of the black yarn is required.
I hope you have enjoyed creating your very own Baby Giraffe. I would really love to see your creations from this pattern, please share a photo in the comments.
