3D Layered Brown Bear – Free SVG File & Tutorial. Create a great little layered card stock project with an easy to follow photo tutorial below.

Why not try this layered project out on your Cricut. You could add in your own quotes or personalise with a name and frame it in a shadow box. Perfect gift for a new baby/child’s bedroom or this could even be made into a cake topper.

For a flat look, use adhesive spray or glue stick

For the 3D look, use foam pads in between the layers.

(NOTE: Hide the foam pads under each layer by using small foam pads or cutting them to size so you can’t see them).

Settings:

Cricut settings

  • Resize the SVG within Design Space to fit the paper you are using or move the pieces in the edit mat program to make sure they all fit on the card stock. I resized this project to 14.097cm width by 15cm height to get it to fit all on the project I’m making this for.
  • The material setting for the BEIGE, BROWN & WHITE card layers
    • LIGHT CARDSTOCK (65lb / 176GSM) – DEFAULT PRESSURE
  • The material setting for the BLACK card layers (I bought a new pack of black card and it seemed a lot thicker than previous packs)
    • MEDIUM CARDSTOCK – MORE PRESSURE

NOTE: All machines are different and there may be better settings but these are the ones that have worked for me.

My inspiration for this pattern was a request for table place settings/favours for babies that were attending a wedding.  These were made to match the wedding colours with their names embroidered on, but these can be made in any colour with or without the name.

Crochet Winter Polar Bear

Crochet Winter Bear

Created by ©BeejuiCreations 2018-2021

Crochet Winter Polar Bear. Awww I’m in love with my new Winter Polar Bear!!  I really enjoyed making this and kept finding myself squidging the soft & fluffy yarn.  It’s so cuddly!

I was out shopping for new yarn (as always) and came across the James C Brett Flutterby Chunky range  …. its so soft and snuggly!  Makes you want to wrap yourself in it!

I purchased from HobbycraftL

Silver: https://www.hobbycraft.co.uk/james-c-brett-silver-flutterby-chunky-yarn-100g/622357-1016

Pink: https://www.hobbycraft.co.uk/james-c-brett-baby-pink-flutterby-chunky-yarn-100-g/622357-1005

I decided it would make a lovely teddy and with winter closing in I decided to make a polar bear, complete with matching hat, scarf and booties.

It measures 16″ standing, 10″ sitting and 8″ wide.

No pattern yet, I need to type it out sorry!

Look how cute he turned out –
